Moving electric hook-up by drilling hole in concrete at right angle?

=== keep the old box to act as a junction of the newly moved new wall box === you could get a concrete blade and slice the wall to hide a conduit tube === you can patch this wall cut with some stuff called """ PATCH CRETE""" it comes in a can or plastic tub and works easy to fix concrete... the use of ""THHN"" / stranded wiring will be the best option as it is maleable and much better to work with than 12/2 w/ground in a short or small area ... if you really want to gtet rid of the old box you need to try to put a new wire drop and a box up in the attic == can you just drill through the wall from the inside of the house and install a new outlet box ?? === pulling the old box out of the block and inserting the r/angle drill (( some times called a hole hog )) is not a workable idea ... it won't reach far enough to do the job .... cut the wall with a chisel and patch ... use can get a small blade that will fit your electric grinder to saw or score the concrete block...
