I want to use my basement, how do I heat it?

Since most people rarely spend a lot of time in their basements, heating is not a concern unless you plan to have someone living there or like a rec. room. Since you didn't specify this, I'll assume you remodeled your basement so a person can spend large amounts of time there in comfort. A few small space heaters (1 or 2) will do just fine - i would use ceramic heaters as they are the best.
