Gerbils can't run in the wheel properly?

Gerbils have long bodies so an ordinary hamster/rat wheel wont do, I was going to suggest that you buy a saucer wheel but since it wont fit. In this case get a big hamster ball and let your gerbils run freely in a non-hazardous room :P BTW you don't need a track
