I want a horse but parents of course, help!?

Ive been riding my entire life, lessons on and off, and I'm now riding a buckskin beauty that is AMAZING! I want a horse really really bad and I'm saving money to help. I'm even offering to go to college on an instate scholarship when I graduate so enough money can be saved so we can afford it. I am a straight A student with a 4.2 GPA. I've calculated the costs and put them in a business type proposal for my parents, but I'm still scared they'll say no! I own my own dog and parrot, so they know I'm responsible with animals, but if I even hint at a horse they freak, so any suggestions?
