Can anyone give me information about Southern Virginia University?

Ok so I am from California. I have always lived here. I am now done with high school and I got a letter, phone call, and email from Southern Virginia University offering me a full scholarship. The thing is that I do not know anything about this University. It is in Buena Vista, Virginia. Does anyone have any information about the University and the city?
