Remodeling Room; Ideas?

So, I'm gonna remodel my room and I'm thinking of painting it a chocolate brown and adding brightly colored furniture, like a brown and light blue comforter or just nice light colors. Does this sound good? Also, please add pictures of cool room ideas or feel free to add any suggestions on how I should style my room. Thanks!:)
