What is the name of this old computer game?

I use to play it when i was a kid. its like your a alian or something. and you are in the space ship like jet and you have to fly around this desert destroying radar and buildings. and when you start to reach the end of the game you can get a flying saucer. also the space ship jet can hover and it shoots i think Purple laser balls. and one have an idea?
